The dispute began when CLASSYS claimed financial losses due to not being able to use Kim Soo Hyun as an advertising model, despite having paid him.

However, Kim Soo Hyun's side emphasized that the real issue originated from Garosero, which allegedly made false claims that led to the termination of the advertising cooperation.
