Sad news comes from the South Korean entertainment industry. Actor Jung Eun Woo (real name Jung Dong-jin) was reported to have passed away on Tuesday (2/11/2026) at the age of 40. Until now, the cause of his death has not been announced to the public.

Jung Eun-woo made his debut in 2006 through the KBS drama ROUND UP 3. His name began to be recognized by the public after starring in several popular dramas such as THE BRIDE OF THE SUN, FIVE FINGERS, A WELL-GROWN DAUGHTER HANA, RETURN OF HWANG GEUM-BOK, and ONE AND ONLY, which made him even more known to Korean viewers.
Not only on screen, Jung Eun-woo has also been involved in several feature films, including MARRIED WOMEN, BAD COUPLE, MISS CHANGE, and MEMORY: A FATAL LIE.Â
Jung Eun Woo even once walked the runway for legendary Korean designer André Kim, showcasing his charm beyond the acting world.
One day before his passing, Jung Eun-woo posted on social media. He shared a photo of Hong Kong actor Leslie Cheung, English singer Amy Winehouse, and a photo of himself, with a short caption that read, "Miss, envy, and regret."
The body of Jung Eun-woo is laid to rest at the New Goryeo Hospital Funeral Hall, Gimpo, Gyeonggi Province, in special room number 2.
The funeral ceremony is scheduled to take place on February 13 at 12:00 local time.
