Kapanlagi.com - Veteran actor Lee Moon Su passed away at the age of 76. This news was confirmed by Lim Dae Il, director of the Korea Association of Theatre Actors, on November 29.
Lee Moon Su was known to have been battling lung cancer and undergoing intensive treatment. Although he had shown some improvement, his health condition suddenly dropped on November 28, 2025, and he took his last breath on the same day.
The funeral for Lee Moon Su will take place on December 1 at Namyangju Eden Memorial Park.

Lee Moon Su began his career after graduating from the Seoul Institute of the Arts. He joined the National Theater Company of Korea in 1989.
Throughout his career, he has starred in many famous plays, including 'KING LEAR' and 'DEATH OF A SALESMAN'. His achievements on the theater stage have made him one of the most respected actors in Korea.
In addition to theater, Lee Moon Su is also known in films and dramas. He has appeared in popular films such as 'HELLO GHOST', 'GUNS & TALKS', and 'GOING BY THE BOOK'.
His works in dramas like 'THE SIGNAL' have also received acclaim. His roles always leave a deep impression on the audience.
In 2010, Lee Moon Su received an award from the Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism. The award recognized his contributions to the performing arts.
His works will continue to be remembered as an important part of the history of Korean theater and film.
