Due to the enthusiasm and support from fans of this survival show, Zhang Hao, Sung Hanbin, Seok Matthew, Ricky, Park Gunwook, Kim Taerae, Kim Gyuvin, Kim Jiwoong, and Han Yujin entered the debut final line-up together with the group name ZEROBASEONE.

The release of their first mini album YOUTH IN THE SHADE, ZEROBASEONE or affectionately known as ZB1, successfully sold 1.2 million copies of the mini album in one day!

Their undeniable popularity led ZB1 to win a trophy on their first weekly music program The Show on July 18, exactly 8 days after their debut, with the title track In Bloom.

This makes ZB1 the fastest K-pop gen 5 group to achieve a first win on a weekly music program.

2. TWS

At second place is TWS who successfully secured their first win just 23 days after their debut on January 22, 2024. This boy group under Pledis Entertainment achieved their first trophy at the music show Show Champion on February 14 with the song Plot Twist.

The group, consisting of Shinyu, Dohoon, Youngjae, Hanjin, Jihoon, and Kyungmin, is one of the fastest K-pop gen 5 idols to achieve a first win. This is because their debut mini album Sparkling Blue sold over 200,000 copies on their debut day.

The fantastic sales for a rookie boy group propelled TWS to the famous MelOn Hot 100 music chart, which is known to be difficult to enter for many artists.

3. BOYNEXTDOOR

Recently, KOZ Entertainment's flagship group (a sub-label of HYBE Entertainment), BOYNEXTDOOR, achieved their first win with the title track But Sometimes on the music show SBS The Show on September 12, 2023.

Just 106 days since their debut, BOYNEXTDOOR successfully obtained their first trophy on a weekly music show. Debuting with the single album WHO! on May 30, 2023, the group consisting of Jaehyun, Sungho, Riwoo, Taesan, Leehan, Woonhak did not immediately break records with their debut song.

However, their first mini album WHY... and their first comeback made a big impact with their title track But Sometimes, which successfully entered the Billboard 200 album chart. This song also helped them achieve their first win.

4. EVNNE

Next up is a group formed from the survival show Boys Planet, EVNNE is the fourth 5th generation K-pop group to achieve their first win. Specifically, on January 31st, EVNNE took first place on the weekly music show Show Champion with their song UGLY.

Debuting on September 19, 2023, EVNNE's first mini album Target: ME achieved high sales of around 250,000 copies after one month of release. However, this Jellyfish Entertainment group has not yet been able to achieve their first win directly.

From their second mini album Un:SEEN with the title track UGLY, released on January 22nd, they sold around 184,000 copies within one month. This is what finally brought EVNNE to their first victory on a weekly music show since their debut 106 days ago.

5. RIIZE

RIIZE becomes the next gen 5 K-pop group to achieve their first victory on a weekly music show, specifically on M Countdown. 136 days since their debut, this group under SM Entertainment managed to top the weekly music chart with their song Love 119.

Prior to this, RIIZE made history as the first group, not from a survival show, to sell over one million copies with their single album Get A Guitar in just the first week of its release.

In addition, the song Love 119 also made it to the MelOn Hot 100 chart, making it RIIZE's most popular song.

6. PLAVE

Not only coming from an 'original' group, this K-pop idol with a virtual concept also achieved their first win on a weekly music show. Specifically, on the Show Champion music show, PLAVE managed to surpass several top artists such as Le Sserafim, BIBI, NCT Taeyong, and CRAVITY.

With the support of their fandom and their easily relatable song, PLAVE sold a total of 530,000 copies from their third mini album Asterum: 134-1 with the title track WAY 4 LUV. This sales figure is one of the best-selling in Korea this year, alongside other international groups like TWICE, (G)-Idle, and Le Sserafim.

This marks their first victory exactly one year after their debut on March 12, 2023. Previously, this group consisting of Yejun, Noah, Bamby, Eunho, and Hamin achieved the record of all songs from their third mini album entering the MelOn Hot 100 chart.
