The Lineup of MCs for Music Bank from 2009 to Present: Featuring Song Joong Ki, Park Bo Gum, and the Latest Minju ILLIT Accompanying Moon Sang Min

For K-Pop lovers, the KBS Music Bank event is certainly familiar. This is where several K-Pop stars perform when they have a new album or song. The event has a permanent MC who changes every one or two years.

The MCs are also a male and female pair, and now some of them have become top stars. From 2009 to the present (this event has been running since 1998 by the way), here is the lineup of Music Bank MCs.

Song Joong Ki started his career as an MC for Music Bank alongside actress Seo Hyo Rim from August 2009 to November 2010. The two also starred together in SUNGKYUNKWAN SCANDAL.

Hyun Woo and BOYS BEFORE FLOWERS actress, Kim Min Ji, were the MCs of Music Bank from December 2010 to October 2011.

Lee Jang Woo and UEE collaborated as MCs from January 2012 until March 29, 2013. A few years later, they were paired again in the successful weekend drama, MY ONLY ONE.

Park Se Young and Jung Jinwoon from 2AM became MCs together from April to October in 2013.

Park Seo Joon and Yoon Bora, formerly of Sistar, were very close while being MCs on Music Bank from October 2013 to April 2015. They cried when they stepped down as MCs.

Park Bo Gum and Irene from Red Velvet were paired as MCs from May 2015 until June 2016. Both were phenomenal as they were considered a perfect match, leading to several dating rumors due to their chemistry on screen.

From July to November 2016, there was the MC couple Minhyuk from CN Blue and Solbin from LABOUM who accompanied K-Pop lovers every Friday.

From November 2016 to May 2018, Solbin changed partners with actor Lee Seo Won. The actor was involved in a sexual harassment case when his career was just starting to rise.

From June 2018 to June 2019, there were Kei from Lovelyz and Choi Won Myung as MCs. They were really cute.

No less cute was the MC couple Shin Ye Eun and Bomin from Golden Child. They made the audience squeal from July 2019 to July 2020.

Arin from Oh My Girl and Soobin from TXT officially took on their roles starting July 24, 2020. They are often referred to as the Ahkong couple MC.

After Soobin and Arin stepped down, they were replaced by Sunghoon ENHYPEN and Wonyoung IVE since October 2021. At the beginning of their duties, they performed a duet of BTS's song Butter.

Sunghoon stepped down as MC on September 2, 2022. He was then replaced by young actor Lee Chae Min, who has been rising in his acting career through the drama CRASH COURSE IN ROMANCE.

On January 13, 2023, Wonyoung also stepped down from her duties as MC. She was then replaced by Eunchae LE SSERAFIM, who joined Lee Chae Min.
