Long Awaited, 'SWEET HOME SEASON 2' Series Set to Air on December 1

SWEET HOME SEASON 2 delves into the story of when desire becomes something deadly and follows the survivors of Green Home apartment and Hyun-su as they both struggle to survive in a new place, as other creatures emerge and mysterious phenomena begin to occur.

The announcement poster for the new season of SWEET HOME shows a rundown baseball stadium as the backdrop for the new narrative of this series. The main characters leave Green Home, the location of their battle against monsters, and are called to explore the outside world. The survivors around the stadium form a new community, but they must not let their guard down.

The evolving storyline promises tension as the characters must face various new dangers in different environments. They must fight against the monsters and their own desires that threaten their lives.

1. A Wider & More Intense Set

To create this narrative, which was developed from the original webtoon, director Lee Eung-bok consulted extensively with writer Kim Kanbi about the underlying premises of the related webtoon as well as the broader story in the latest season. Lee said, "This series will present an intense apocalyptic drama. If season 1 depicted tension and fear only within the Green Home location, season 2 takes place in an open setting with the introduction of new characters and monsters."

Actor Lee Jin Wook added, "The new season will showcase a different world from the original webtoon. The expanding world will bring various new elements."

Hearing this, the beautiful actress Lee Si Young further piques curiosity by saying, "Such a vast world awaits the characters after they leave Green Home. Everyone will undergo drastic changes."

2. Dubbed in up to 16 languages

To welcome the new season, Netflix also presents a video clip of scenes from SWEET HOME SEASON 1 that not only serves as a summary of the first season but also shows how this series has captivated audiences worldwide. This video highlights Netflix's proficient dubbing feature in 15 audio languages, namely Chinese, English, Filipino, French, German, Hindi, Hungarian, Indonesian, Japanese, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish (Latin America), Spanish, Thai, Turkish, and Vietnamese. Meanwhile, the second season of SWEET HOME will be dubbed in 16 languages, including Polish.

As seen in the multilingual video, the first season of SWEET HOME follows the story of the residents of Green Home as they struggle against various monsters, alongside the character Hyun-su (Song Kang) who turns out to have monster abilities in terms of strength and healing. Hyun-su is then able to unleash monster wings from himself and leaves the other residents of Green Home, only to be attacked by military forces and eventually rescued by Sang-wook (Lee Jin Wook).
