Loudi's Struggle to Become the First Indonesian Debut in K-Pop, Training Until Dawn - Big Days Never Take a Break

For those who already know, Dita is not actually the first Indonesian person to debut as a K-Pop idol. Previously there was Loudi, a man from Jogja, who became a member of 14U, which unfortunately has now disbanded.

One of the things that often becomes a public question is how the struggles of both Dita and Loudi were in order to become K-Pop idols. Through an email interview, Loudi explained his struggles before debuting as an idol.

"Actually, the struggle was very difficult, training from morning until dawn, every day. Even on holidays, we had to continue training. But in my opinion, after debut is the more difficult and tiring time compared to before debut," Loudi said.

1. Not Concerned with Competition

After debut, it's certainly difficult to remember many boy bands who also struggle for success. But for Loudi, he himself doesn't really care about competition in the K-Pop world.

"I don't really know what others feel, but maybe because of my personality, I don't pay much attention to competition between groups, because in my opinion, every group has their own charm and appeal and there's no need to compare. My goal and competition are only to become the best version of myself and my own group," said Loudi.

2. Always Striving to Be Yourself

When asked about the biggest challenge of being an idol, Loudi said it is to always be oneself and give the best ability. However, he always tries to work hard.

"As I mentioned earlier, perhaps the most difficult thing is to continue striving to be the best version of myself. To be able to give and show the best in every opportunity, even in difficult times," said Loudi.

3. No Break

As an idol, there are certainly obstacles. Loudi also feels this.

"Maybe it's just a matter of not having freedom in daily life, and not having time to rest because of a busy schedule," said the presenter of KBS World Indonesia.
