Behind the perfect appearance of K-Pop idols on stage, they are still ordinary humans. Some of these idols are known to have poor eyesight, which requires them to wear contact lenses or glasses to see clearly.
This topic immediately became a hot topic among fans in one of the online community forums in South Korea. Who are these idols with poor eyesight? Let's take a look at their photos.
Dahyun from TWICE is often seen wearing glasses. It's not just for fashion, but this beautiful idol actually needs glasses for her -5.5 nearsightedness.
Due to her poor eyesight, many people misunderstand when Dahyun has to squint her eyes and furrow her brow to see more clearly.
Meanwhile, Ahn Yujin Iz*One, whose eyesight reaches -9, wears glasses that make her face appear much smaller behind its thick lenses.
Sandeul B1A4 has also experienced the same fate. Due to his poor eyesight, this handsome idol has been wearing glasses since he was young and now his eyes are -13.
Because his image was very different when he wore glasses before, many people thought Sandeul had plastic surgery. But the only thing that made a difference was his glasses.
Next, there is Suho from EXO with -14 eyesight, which made him serve in public service instead of active military service during his mandatory military service a few years ago.
Due to his poor eyesight, Suho suffers from nearsightedness. The EXO leader admitted that he can't see anything beyond a distance of 7 cm.
Kangmin VERIVERY is also included in this list. Although he did not disclose how many diopters his eyes are, this handsome idol admits that his vision is very poor.
Having poor eyesight certainly somewhat disturbs daily life. Like Seulgi, who also refuses to reveal how many diopters her eyes are.
Last but not least, there is D.O from EXO who is known to have astigmatism or severe cylindrical eyes that make his vision blurry.
