Marymond and BTS Army Indonesia Unite to Help Women Victims of Sexual Violence

The BTS Army Indonesia Amino Jabodetabek (BAIA Jabodetabek) community also joined in the celebration with support from Marymond. The event was titled 'Masquerade Cup Sleeve Event' and took place on Saturday (29/2) at Plus Eighty Two, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta.

The event was filled with various exciting activities, starting from a birthday celebration, watching the 'BTS Speak Your Self Final - Seoul' concert video together, to fun games with prizes. However, one of the main activities was the donation handover from Marymond and BAIA Jabodetabek to Yayasan Pulih, an advocacy and psychological support foundation for women victims of domestic and sexual violence.

"BTS is not only famous for their music works, but also for their high social concern and care, which then becomes the character of all their fans worldwide. BAIA Jabodetabek and, coincidentally, Marymond, have the same concern for women victims of domestic and sexual violence," said Adisti, the event committee chairperson in an interview with SINDOnews.

1. Marymond's Support for Women Victims of Violence

Marymond entered the Indonesian market through the e-commerce enabler company Egogo Hub Indonesia. Jacqueline Zhang, Brand Manager of Egogo Hub Indonesia for Marymond, confirmed Adisti's statement.

Suga, one of the BTS members who celebrated his birthday by BAIA Jabodetabek, was also caught on camera wearing a sweater with the slogan 'I Marymond You'. Not only that, BTS Army also showed their sympathy to coronavirus patients in Daegu, South Korea recently.

"Indonesian society can now have the same sweater, or other Marymond products such as clothes, bags, wallets, phone cases, and so on," she added.

"We sympathize with the victims of the coronavirus, especially those in Daegu, which became the Wuhan of South Korea because many people were affected by the coronavirus, causing concerts there to be canceled. Some even donated the ticket prices for coronavirus victims in Daegu," Jacqueline concluded.
