Momo TWICE Writes a Letter to Fans After Dating News with Kim Heechul of Super Junior

Now, a few days later, Momo finally speaks up. She wrote a letter to fans through the official fan page on Monday (6/1/2020).

"There are many things I want to convey to ONCE, so I don't know if this letter will be well-organized. But, I want to write a letter so here I am writing it. This is the fifth time I am welcoming the new year with ONCE. The time we spend together feels very long, but also feels short. Whatever happens, I remember many memories that I made with ONCE," said Momo.

"Each ONCE may have different memories they made with us every year and I also make different memories with ONCE every year. And what remains in my memory is also different. So in 2020, I want to give back the happiness and abundant memories I received from ONCE in 2019. And my goal is to create more enjoyable memories for ONCE and communicate a lot," she continued.

2. Feeling Regretful

"But I surprised ONCE so much when 2020 started, so I really feel regretful. Honestly, I have been contemplating whether I should write this letter. Whether this letter will hurt ONCE more. Whether not doing anything would be better for ONCE. I am very careful, but because I often communicate with ONCE, I want to communicate with ONCE in my own way, so I wrote this letter," wrote Momo.

"When I was little, I started (being a trainee) just because I liked dancing, because I liked singing, because I wanted to be a singer, because I wanted to be a celebrity, and reasons like that. And luckily I could meet an amazing family named TWICE. And while I am part of TWICE, I met ONCE," she continued.

3. Always Enjoying

"Of course, I like dancing and singing. But I have a lot of fun communicating with ONCE, and every such thing makes me happy. So after work, on the way home, I think, 'Oh, I want to talk to ONCE,' and we have so many V Lives that our manager gets tired. Editing and uploading videos is not something I do because someone tells me to. I do it only with the thought that ONCE will like it. And recording those videos is not work, I go out to have fun during breaks and it's really enjoyable. That's what makes me do those things," Momo revealed.

"Doing those things really doesn't feel like work for us. We really want to be close to ONCE, and that's what I really like. When I see ONCE feeling happy because of us, it makes me happy. When we do V Lives for seven hours (so long that) ONCE gets tired, I really enjoy it. I'm not trying to boast that I do this much. I want to let you know that this is what I think about ONCE. I am truly grateful to ONCE for communicating with me and giving me a lot of strength. ONCE always gives us support, and we want to give you as much support," Momo continued.

4. Thank You ONCE

"I am always proud (of ONCE) and you are very precious to me. I don't know if my words are well-organized, but I hope that at least a little bit of my sincerity towards ONCE will reach you. The year 2020 has just begun, so health is the first priority for ONCE and TWICE," Momo's message.

"Everyone will experience personal difficulties, and there will be annoying or unpleasant things that happen because of us, but I still hope that ONCE will experience more happy things than difficult ones. From now on, I want to create more beautiful memories for ONCE. I always regret and am truly grateful. Thank you for reading this long letter even though I am not very good at speaking. Happy New Year ONCE," she concluded.
