MOMOLAND, whose members have left the agency after their contracts expired in January, officially announced their disbandment on Valentine's Day, Tuesday (14/2/2023). This dissolution certainly saddens fans as the group has gained popularity in the Korean entertainment industry over the past six years. Let's take a look at MOMOLAND's career journey!

In June 2016, the Mnet Finding Momoland created by Duble Kick Entertainment began. This survival show gave birth to a group of seven members selected from ten contestants.

Unable to gather 3,000 viewers in the Final Mission resulted in the official debut of MOMOLAND being postponed. Later, their debut mini album Welcome to Momoland was released on November 10, 2016.

In 2017, MOMOLAND, originally consisting of seven members, added two new members as permanent members, namely Daisy and Taeha.

Then MOMOLAND released their third EP titled 'Great!' together with the single 'Bboom Bboom' on January 3, 2018. This single went viral at that time.

In the following year, precisely in November 2019, MLD Entertainment announced that Yeonwoo and Taeha left the group. The agency also stated that they were discussing Daisy's future in the group.

In January 2020, Daisy stated that the show Finding Momoland cheated by manipulating voices. However, MLD Entertainment denied the claim and stated that legal action would be taken against Daisy. On May 13, 2020, it was announced that Daisy had left the group.

MOMOLAND signed a contract with ICM Partners on June 29, 2020, with plans to enter the American market. Then on January 14, 2022, they released the English single 'Yummy Yummy Love' with Natti Natasha.
