Moon Ji Yoon Passes Away, Actor of 'Sassy Girl Chunhyang' and 'Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo'

As reported by Soompi, the late actor's agency, Famile ENT., issued a statement regarding Moon Ji Yoon's passing to XSportNews. He was said to have passed away due to acute septicemia (blood poisoning).

"He initially went to the hospital because of a severe throat illness, but his condition worsened and he was transferred to the ICU. After that, he lost consciousness and could not be saved," said the agency.

Several sources who knew Moon Ji Yoon also shared some things about him during his lifetime. The actor was said to be in good health all this time.

"I have been working with Moon Ji Yoon for a long time. He is a passionate person and only has thoughts for acting. It feels very sad that he suddenly passed away. He used to be a healthy person. So I hope there are no other speculations (about his death)," said the source.
