Kapanlagi.com - THE SCHOOL NURSE FILES finally premiered on Netflix starting Friday (26/9/2020). The drama, starring Jung Yu Mi and Nam Joo Hyuk, is a fantasy genre that tells the story of two people who help each other in fighting invisible jelly monsters that threaten humans.
For those who don't know, this drama directed by Lee Kyoung Mi is based on the best-selling novel of the same title by Chung Se Rang. The writer also admitted that she fully agrees with Jung Yu Mi and Nam Joo Hyuk as the main cast.
In his interview, writer Chung Se Rang explained his reasons for choosing Jung Yu Mi and Nam Joo Hyuk as the main cast. It turns out, he has wanted Jung Yu Mi to play the character Ahn Eun Young for a long time.
"I wanted Jung Yoo Mi to portray Ahn Eun Young even before we decided to make this series based on the novel. She has a quiet but explosive energy," said Chung Se Rang.
As for the character Hong In Pyo, Chung Se Rang has praise for the actor who makes viewers curious about the drama's story. He even mentioned the possibility of a second season.
"Through his acting, I learned that In Pyo has qualities that I myself didn't know. He even gave me some ideas for a sequel," said Chung Se Rang.
