Kapanlagi.com - Jennie Blackpink is preparing to launch a new EP at the end of August 2026. This news was confirmed by her agency, Odd Atelier (OA) Entertainment, as reported by Soompi, Wednesday (19/8/2026).
The 30-year-old singer has started a series of promotions since mid-summer.
OA Entertainment stated that Jennie will make a comeback in the EP format at the end of August 2026. In line with that, she has already warmed up the stage by introducing snippets of material that will be featured in her new release.
“Less than a Lover” became the opening of the promotional series on July 24. On stage, she also performed “FALLEN ANGEL” and “lockitdown” as part of the festival setlist, making fans look forward to the studio versions when the EP officially launches.
Two weeks after its release, “Less than a Lover” won its second trophy at the music show “M Countdown” on Monday, (6/8/2026). Jennie won the trophy with a total of 7,253 points.
This year has indeed been a busy time for Jennie. She is noted as the main performer at seven major global festivals.
Her list includes The Governors Ball Music Festival in New York, USA, Roskilde Festival in Denmark, Open'er Festival in Poland, 2026 MAD COOL FESTIVAL in Spain, and SUMMER SONIC 2026 in Japan.

In an interview with Cosmopolitan published this month, Jennie shared her plans to enjoy her free time after the festival schedule ends and the new album is released. She envisions traveling to Europe, visiting beaches, and enjoying a holiday without a tight agenda like in previous years.
In addition to travel plans, Jennie also wants to explore the world of fashion more. She is setting aside time to have dinners with her friends as a way to unwind from her busy stage activities.
At home, she is interested in learning new things, including learning to mix her own cocktails. This relaxing activity has become part of her priorities for relaxation after an intensive promotional phase.
