"I watched one Korean drama during this pandemic, REPLY 1988. It was recommended by a friend, so I tried it. And I was hooked in the first episode because it reminds me of my childhood. It's like seeing our aunts, uncles, and us back then," Nico said.

2. Remembering Childhood

Nico's explanation even made Dave Hendrik want to watch it. Nico said that he must watch and highly recommend the drama starring Park Bo Gum, Ryu Jun Yeol, Hyeri Girls Day, and others.

"I miss my childhood when living as neighbors and the connection was so strong. Sometimes we would send food to each other's houses. And the food shouldn't be empty, the plate would be filled again. I miss those little things. (The drama) reminds me of my childhood, living as neighbors. So I keep watching it and it's actually interesting. You have to watch it. The life in Korea in '88 and the dynamics of friendship and neighborly relationships are portrayed very well. It's very relatable to us," Nico continued.

3. Not Knowing Neighbors Well Now

Speaking of neighbors, Nico admitted that now he doesn't really know them. When tempted by his neighbor's unawareness of having an actor neighbor, he just laughed. "At least the neighborhood head knows," he replied.
