Korean drama HAPPINESS is a zombie drama set in an apartment, KLovers. Yoon Sae Bom (Han Hyo Joo) and Jung Yi Hyun (Park Hyung Sik) are a pair of friends who recently moved into an apartment due to their fake marriage in order to receive housing benefits from SAT because Sae Bom works there. Unfortunately, a zombie outbreak occurs in South Korea caused by a medication. Their apartment is then barricaded to prevent the outbreak from spreading further.

Yoon Sae Bom and Jung Yi Hyun become the protectors for the other residents in the apartment as they are members of SAT and police detectives. Their struggle to survive within the apartment complex is not easy, especially with selfish and annoying residents making the situation more complicated, allowing zombies to enter their building.

She tries to find the killer by training in martial arts with a friend of her father's who will help Yoon Ji Woo grow strong and ready for revenge.

Yoon Ji Woo joins the police force and becomes a detective to uncover the case of her father's death, suspecting that the culprit is among the detectives in the police force. Yoon Ji Woo often gets into arguments with Jeon Pil Do (Ahn Bo Hyun) because he doesn't believe in Yoon Ji Woo's suspicious behavior. However, slowly but surely, love blossoms between them, bringing a subtle romance.
