Once a Model Like Hae Hyo's Character, Byeon Woo Seok Still Nervous While Filming 'RECORD OF YOUTH'

In this drama, Byeon Woo Seok plays Won Hae Hyo, a model who aspires to be an actor. He feels a similarity between himself and the character he played.

"Hae Hyo is a model who becomes an actor, that's why there is a fashion show scene in this drama. I am also a model turned actor, even though I have walked on many runways, I still get nervous during filming. So I watch videos of myself walking on the runway and practice a lot through simulations," Byeon Woo Seok said.

Although feeling nervous, it cannot be denied that his experience as a model has helped him a lot in playing the role of Won Hae Hyo. Therefore, he feels there are similarities between himself and the character he plays.

"In terms of work, he is very similar to me. We have many similarities but also differences. He is a character born with wealth and is very free and optimistic. But he doesn't like the attention from his surroundings because of his wealth and that makes him try to overcome this," said Byeon Woo Seok.

Many believe that after appearing in RECORD OF YOUTH, he will attract the attention of many drama fans. When asked about this, Byeon Woo Seok also wants the audience to support the character of Hae Hyo.

"Hae Hyo was born into a wealthy family and benefited from all of it. Although he seems to have no worries and is always happy, he is a three-dimensional personality who also feels heartache and does many things (to achieve his dreams). I would be very grateful if the audience could be together and support Hae Hyo through his youth," he concluded.
