Park Min Young shared her extreme story while attending the production presentation of the latest tvN drama, 'SIREN'S KISS', on February 23 through TVING and Naver TV. In this project, which also stars Wi Ha Joon and Kim Jung Hyun, she plays Han Seol Ah, the head auctioneer at Royal Auction.

Park Min Young admitted to only consuming plain water during the shooting process. She even drank up to three liters a day to maintain the appearance of her character Han Seol Ah, who is fragile.

Han Seol Ah is portrayed as someone who rarely eats due to being surrounded by tragedy. "At home, she only drinks water and alcohol," said Park Min Young at the press conference.

The character Han Seol Ah herself experiences panic disorders and extreme loneliness. She feels she must not appear healthy or filled out because the character's mental state is so dark.

Previously, Park Min Young also experienced a drastic weight loss of up to 37 kilograms while starring in 'MARRY MY HUSBAND' in 2024 as a cancer patient.
