Park Shin Hye's Tears When in Kenya, Why?

Kapanlagi.com - Park Shin Hye has just appeared in the documentary series Humanimal which aired on MBC on Thursday (23/1/2020). In the show, Park Shin Hye traveled to Kenya, Africa.

As reported by Allkpop, Park Shin Hye met with rare animals, including the last two remaining northern white rhinos in the world. This species became extinct due to hunting for its horn over the past fifty years.

Seeing the condition of these animals, Park Shin Hye couldn't hold back her tears.

1. Sad to See Elephants

Not only did Park Shin Hye meet the white rhinos, but she also saw the condition of several elephants in need of care. Seeing this, the tears of the star of the drama Memories of The Alhambra started to flow again.

"They ran away as soon as they saw us. Even though we came to help, they were afraid," she said with teary eyes.

2. Admire Animal Protectors

Fortunately, the elephants were willing to be helped. Their condition improved after receiving treatment. Park Shin Hye cried again when she saw the elephant carcass after being hunted.

"The people who work in this field are really amazing. We regret not being like this and mistreating animals when we should be protecting them. We must spread awareness to protect animals.
