Park Sung Hoon Explains the Difference in His Character in 'THE KIDNAPPING DAY' compared to His Previous Drama

This time, KapanLagi Korea had the opportunity to interview Park Sung Hoon who plays the character Park Sang Yoon. Here are the results of the interview with the actor conducted via e-mail.

1. Hoping the Audience Sees the Differences in Each Character

As we know, in 2023 we can see Park Sung Hoon's acting in various dramas. Before THE KIDNAPPING DAY, he also participated in THE GLORY and NOT OTHERS. Park Sung Hoon then expressed his hopes to the audience regarding his different characters.

"In my opinion, it is a great blessing as an actor to play different characters in each work. There are viewers who like my previous dramas and like my characters, so there is some kind of power to continue acting and move forward. Sometimes playing a villain, sometimes as a good man, but actors face the audience with a new face and character in each work. So I hope the audience can see and sympathize with the character I portray."

2. Park Sang Yoon Character Questions

Park Sung Hoon then explained his role as Park Sang Yoon in THE KIDNAPPING DAY with his character in the drama NOT OTHERS. They do have a slight resemblance.

"I played the character Eun Jae Won, the head of the police station in the previous drama, NOT OTHERS, and now the role is similar but different, as a detective. He leads to solve cases and has to act here and there. So I think this role has a more rhythmic charm," he explained.
