Dean Fujioka was born in Sukagawa, Fukushima Prefecture, but grew up in Kamagaya in Chiiba Prefecture. He will be 42 years old in August.

After graduating from high school in Kamagaya, Fujioka continued his studies in IT at a community college in Seattle, United States.

Funny enough, he actually started his career in the entertainment industry as a model in Hong Kong since 2004. Besides appearing in magazines, he also appeared in TV commercials for famous fashion brands.

Fujioka then moved to Taiwan and started his acting career there since 2006. He worked as an actor in the China region until 2013.

In 2017, Dean started his career as a singer by releasing a mini album. Dean is also skilled in playing musical instruments and composing songs.

Dean married an Indonesian woman named Vanina Amalia Hidayat in 2012. Vanina is the daughter of the owner of PT Sido Muncul, a top herbal medicine producer in Indonesia.
