"Hyun Soo is always immersed in sad thoughts after losing his family, but he tries to rise again after the appearance of a monster. He is an emotional character who goes through ups and downs, so I always think about how to control his emotions," said Song Kang.

"I have also been discussing Hyun Soo's emotions with Director Lee, how far and deep his feelings go, and how to express them. The location of Hyun-soo's room is very influential and realistic, it helps me fully immerse myself in the character and feel truly alone in this world. That's why I always arrive at the filming location 10 to 20 minutes before shooting and immerse myself in it," he added.

Furthermore, Song Kang admitted that this thriller series is his first try. The actor felt happy when trying to practice basic action movements.

"Because SWEET HOME is my first genre series, I feel everything is very new and enjoyable. I started practicing basic movements at the action school every time I had two months before shooting started. You can never kill monsters with weapons in real life. I had fun throughout the shooting," he said.
