This film is set in Joseon in the 18th century, when King Jeongjo faced a complicated political situation. Kim Min, a detective known as Detective K, and Seo-pil travel to Kanghwa Island to investigate a series of murders. They find a burned body and believe that a vampire is involved in the case.
They meet a beautiful woman with extraordinary powers and no memory.
Kim Min believes that the woman may be connected to the murders and asks for her help in the investigation. The woman, known as Wol-young.
During the investigation process, Kim Min and Seo-pil discover that Wol-young has a connection to the deaths.
Wol-young was previously a Crown Princess who was killed in a rebellion led by a group of traitors.
These traitors faked the death of the Crown Princess and blamed her loyalists, Jeong In-yul and her father, for killing her.
Jeong In-yul promised to seek revenge by killing the people who are valuable to those traitors.
