This is when they received the daesang. Minji was the first to give the winning speech. "It's been two years since NewJeans debuted. During those two years, we have met many people, gained a lot of experiences, and learned many things. Today also feels like a very meaningful moment to learn, and we are very grateful. Over the past two years, we have had many happy moments, but to be honest, there have also been many challenges that were a bit difficult for us to handle. Those challenges have made the five of us stronger and grown into a better team. That's what I believe."
"I also want to express my gratitude to the manager and staff who provided incredible support, even through small things. And to our CEO, I don’t know if you’re watching this, but I’m very thankful for the strength and spirit for us to continue as a team. Today I am very happy to be on stage with the members and share amazing and fun moments with the Bunnies," Minji continued.
"NewJeans will continue to bring great music and show new sides of ourselves, so please keep supporting us and stay tuned for what’s to come. Thank you," Minji concluded.
Hanni also conveyed what she wanted to say to the fans. "To our Bunnies, I keep saying thank you. And it may sound like just empty words, but I hope you know that this is truly sincere. Honestly, we don’t know how long NewJeans will last, but I believe nothing can disrupt the bond between the five of us and our Bunnies. Let’s stay together until the end."
Danielle didn't want to miss out and delivered a message that moved many people. "Even one day in the future, if NewJeans is no longer here, NewJeans never dies," shouted Danielle, receiving applause from the audience.
This speech from NewJeans also touched other artists who attended KGMA. (G)I-dle appeared moved, with some saying that Soyeon really cried upon seeing NewJeans.
STAYC also continued to applaud NewJeans. Yoon (left) even made a heart sign after NewJeans delivered their speech.
