Jinyoung's acting debut began in 2013 through the drama SHE IS WOW which aired on tvN. Shortly after, he appeared in the film MISS GRANNY and even wrote a song for the film.

His popularity as an actor increased after appearing in various drama and film projects. Now, he is trusted as the lead actor in YOU ARE THE APPLE OF MY EYE, co-starring with Dahyun from Twice.

The film YOU ARE THE APPLE OF MY EYE is scheduled to premiere on February 21, 2025. In this film, Jinyoung plays Jin Woo, a teenager who experiences a nostalgic love story.
