Kapanlagi.com - Weeekly is a new rookie girl group from South Korea. They debuted on June 30, 2020, under Play M Entertainment with their mini album titled WE ARE. Unlike other girl groups that have a girl crush concept, Weeekly comes with a very fresh and age-appropriate girl cute concept as their members are still young.

Weeekly is the second girl group under Play M Entertainment. Play M Entertainment, formerly known as Plan A or A Cube, is the agency that manages Apink, VICTON, and soloist Huh Gak. The members consist of Soojin, Monday, Zoa, Jaehee, Soeun, Jiyoon, and Jihan.

1. Soojin

Soojin was born on December 12, 2001, and is the oldest member and leader of the group Weeekly. Her official color in the group is light pink. In addition to being the leader, Soojin also holds positions as the main dancer, sub vocalist, and rapper. Her life motto is 'Let's passionately try our best every moment'.

Before debuting with Weeekly, Soojin was already known to the public through the survival show MIXNINE, along with Jiyoon and Soeun. She also successfully became the center along with Hyojin ONF. Soojin had an accident with her two colleagues on December 31, 2017, after finishing shooting for the survival show MIXNINE. She suffered an injury to her abdomen and had to leave the show to recover her health.

2. Jiyoon

Jiyoon was born on March 2, 2002 in Gyeonggi-do, South Korea and her real name is Shin Jiyoon. Her official color in the group is yellow. She is a member of Weeekly and holds the positions of lead vocalist, lead dancer, and rapper. She enjoys writing and composing songs.

She also participated in the survival show MIXNINE along with Soojin and Soeun, but she continued her activities and was eliminated at rank 44. Jiyoon has the life motto 'Let's live blue! (Honestly, Cooly, Beautifully)'. Her role models are IU, Tablo Epik High, and Taylor Swift.

3. Monday

Monday was born on May 10, 2002 and her real name is Kim Jimin. Her official color in the group is royal blue. She is the main vocalist and dancer in the group and is also known as the 'Super Human' due to her athleticism.

She is also called 'Monday Carey' by her fans because of her exceptional singing skills, which is derived from the famous singer Mariah Carey. Her life motto is 'Nothing is impossible.' and she chooses Taeyeon SNSD as her role model.

4. Soeun

Soeun was born on October 26, 2020 and has the real name Park Soeun. Her official color in the group is white. She occupies the positions of lead vocalist, lead dancer, and rapper in her group. Soeun is also the only Weeekly member without a mole.

Soeun was also a former participant in the survival show MIXNINE and experienced an accident with Soojin and Jiyoon. She was eliminated in the 7th episode and ranked 55th. Soeun has the life motto 'Live honestly' and chooses IU and Ariana Grande as her role models.

5. Jaehee

She also has the nickname 'Lee Jelly' given by her fellow members. This is because her name sounds similar and Jaehee really likes chewy food.

Before debuting with Weeekly, Jaehee had already debuted as an actress.
