WHIB suddenly became a topic of conversation after unexpectedly performing at SMA 70 Jakarta. The appearance of the boyband formed by CJeS Entertainment (which is also known as the agency for actors and actresses in dramas) was warmly welcomed by the students of SMA 70.
For those who are not too familiar, let's get to know the members of WHIB. For those who already know, who is your bias?
WHIB debuted under CJeS Entertainment on November 8, 2023, with the album 'Cut-Out'. So they are not yet two years old. They were initially called M.I.C.
This is their leader, Jayder (whose real name is Kin Junmin). This 22-year-old man is also a rapper and was once cast by BigHit.
Haseung (his real name is Lee Taewoo) is the oldest member at almost 26 years old. He once participated in the Stars Awakening event but was eliminated in episode 9. Haseung is a fan of Baekhyun from EXO and Doyoung from NCT.
Park Jinbeom, 23 years old, is a former trainee from YG Entertainment who participated in YG TREASURE BOX but was eliminated in the first episode. Jinbeom is a fan of Baekhyun from EXO.
UGeon, whose real name is Yoo Seung Yeon, is a rapper and dancer in WHIB. He has passed the first round auditions at JYP, FNC, WM, CUBE, and Fantagio. This 22-year-old man has starred in many dramas such as PINOCHHIO, PERSEVERE GOO HAE RA, and several movie titles.
Jeon Leejeong, who is not yet 22 years old, is a former trainee at SM Entertainment and PLEDIS. He experienced an accident before WHIB's debut that caused him to miss several performances at the beginning of the debut.
Jaeha (his real name is Kim Jaehyeon) is 21 years old. He is a former figure skating athlete who won a bronze medal at the KB Korea Figure Skating Championship 2019. He was also a former trainee at BigHit and lived in Canada for a year.
Lee Inhong (21 years old) was once a trainee at YG and Yuehua. He also participated in the YG TREASURE BOX event but was eliminated in episode 8. Inhong is also a graduate of SOPA majoring in practical music.
Moon Wonjun is the maknae of WHIB who turns 20 this year. Besides singing and dancing, Wonjun can also play the violin and beatbox.
