He compared the group, who sang the song Jopping, to a ship, in line with Vogue UK's description of SuperM as 'sailing the pop ocean'. Expanding on the meaning of this description, Mark mentioned the valuable difference in energy between the seniors and them.

"When I trained with them, the energy I absorbed was very captivating. Their knowledge and experience are incomparable to what we have. It's not a competition or anything, but something we can learn from," Mark said as quoted by Koreaboo.
