Red Velvet's Adorableness Becomes Characters in 'TROLLS: WORLD TOUR'

Kapanlagi.com - On February 9th, Red Velvet released a poster on their personal Instagram that features characters from DreamWorks Animation. Previously, it had been widely discussed that one of Red Velvet's songs, 'ZIMZALABIM', will appear in the animated film TROLLS 2.

TROLLS: WORLD TOUR tells the story of Poppy (Anna Kendrick) and Branch (Justin Timberlake) who discover that there are not just one, but six different Troll tribes, each representing a different music genre. However, trouble arises when Barb (Rachel Bloom), the queen of the Hard Rock Trolls, appears. She has evil intentions to destroy the other tribes in order for rock music to reign.

Red Velvet will join other cast members such as James Corden, Ozzy Osbourne, Rachel Bloom, and more. TROLLS: WORLD TOUR is a sequel to the 2016 film TROLLS.

1. Every Member Has a Character

Every member, starting from Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, Joy, and Yeri, will portray troll characters such as Baby Bun, Gomdori, Wani, Ari, and Kim Petit. In the trailer clip, they will play as 'K-Pop gang' who sings the song 'ZIMZALABIM'.

According to Allkpop, the film's producer, Gina Shay, said, "Red Velvet has played the role of K-Pop representatives because they represent various music styles and have unique appeal. It's the right choice. When we worked with the members, they showed each other's characters and were very integrated with the role of 'K-Pop Trolls'."

2. Previously Involved in TV Series

Previously, 'TROLLS' has collaborated with SM Entertainment. Yeri from Red Velvet, along with Renjun, Jeno, and Jaemin from NCT, sang the song 'HAIR IN THE AIR' as the theme song for the TV series 'TROLLS: THE BEAT GOES ON.'

It is rumored that the song 'RUSSIAN ROULETTE' will also be included in this animated film. 'TROLLS: WORLD TOUR' will be released in theaters starting from April 29, 2020. So, are you ready to anticipate it, KLovers?
