MOVE TO HEAVEN tells the story of a young man with Asperger's syndrome named Han Geu Ru and a man who becomes his guardian named Cho Sang Gu. They both work as 'trauma cleaners', a group of people who help organize the belongings of deceased individuals and deliver undisclosed messages to the ones left behind.
When Geu Ru's father suddenly passes away, Sang Gu stays with Geu Ru for three months to assist him in his work as a trauma cleaner at 'Move to Heaven'. Despite their initial conflicts due to their contrasting personalities, Sang Gu gradually begins to feel Geu Ru's sincerity as they work together at 'Move to Heaven'. They both attempt to convey comforting and empathetic farewell messages from the departed to those left behind.

MOVE TO HEAVEN is an inspirational story adapted from a non-fiction essay titled Things Left Behind by Kim Sae Byul - one of the first trauma cleaners in Korea. In this series, director Kim Sung Ho and writer Yoon Ji Ryun present various stories left behind by those who have passed away and tell them as they are from the perspective of Geu Ru, who has Asperger's syndrome.
Director Kim Sung Ho is able to capture the touching side of this trauma cleaner profession in a series. As a result, the message that Kim Sung Ho wants to convey in this drama can be delivered very well.
"This drama will help us reflect on our relationships with others around us, which are often overlooked in modern society," said Kim Sung Ho.

What's even more interesting is that the main character in this drama is a young man with Asperger's syndrome named Han Geu Ru, played by Tang Jun Sang. Despite being a relatively new actor, Tang Jun Sang successfully touched the hearts of the audience with his character. The actor, who previously appeared in CRASH LANDING ON YOU, also has good chemistry with his co-star Lee Jae Hoon.
Lee Je Hoon's role here is slightly different from the roles he has previously played. If you remember the film TIME TO HUNT, his character is somewhat similar. He is portrayed as a tough yet emotional person. Although he has only played characters like this a few times, Lee Jae Hoon is very good and suitable for the role.
MOVE TO HEAVEN is a drama with a unique and different story that we as drama lovers have never seen in previous Korean dramas. And for sure, prepare tissues to watch it!
