[REVIEW] 'SOUNDTRACK #2' Story of Two Former Lovers Who Meet Again Because of the Piano

Kapanlagi.com - SOUNDTRACK #2 is now available on Disney+ Hotstar to brighten the days of drama lovers. This series is different from SOUNDTRACK #1, which starred Park Hyung Sik and Han So Hee. This time, the audience is accompanied by Keum Sae Rok and Noh Sang Hyun.

SOUNDTRACK #2 tells the story of Do Hyeonseo (Keum Sae Rok), a genius pianist who buried her dream of becoming a professional pianist. She chose to work odd jobs as a piano tutor and food delivery person. She now has a new dream of opening a tteokbokki shop.

Meanwhile, Ji Suho (Noh Sang Hyun) is the CEO of the content creation company Playing. He is a successful entrepreneur who experiences burnout due to his busy schedule. He is advised by a psychologist to take a break and reconnect with music. His friend then finds a piano tutor for him, Hyeonseo.

It is revealed here that Hyeonseo and Suho were once in a relationship. Their relationship ended due to circumstances. Hyeonseo struggles with her life, while Suho, although poor at the time, dreams of becoming a famous content creator. So what happens when they meet as tutor and student? And what about when musician K (Sohn Jeong Hyuck) appears between them?

1. Estetik Banget

For those who like healing dramas, SOUNDTRACK #2 is suitable as a companion to watch. The tone is also comfortable to the eyes. The cinematography is also pleasing to the eye.

In addition, some funny scenes can also make you laugh. Suho's character, behind his cool CEO style, is very entertaining as he tries to show off his wealth to Hyeonseo or wants to look handsome in front of his ex who hasn't been able to make him move on.

Oh yeah, some scenes also show aesthetic places. Like the place where Hyeonseo teaches piano, Suho's magnificent house, and other cafes that appear.

2. Soundtrack Winner

Of course, deserving of appreciation is the soundtrack which is very easy listening. The songs seem to fit well with the cinematography of this series. The music played by Hyeonseo on the piano is also good.

Overall, although the main premise can be considered cliché, there are new things that we can watch in SOUNDTRACK #2. For example, it feels like we are invited to see the main character's story while watching social media content.
