At the beginning of his career in the boy group formed by Big Hit Entertainment, RM had a model-like body proportion with his long legs and a height of about 182 cm.

One of the Korean entertainment websites, Idol Chart, once surveyed its users in 2019 with the question 'Who is the idol with the best body proportion among all the idols who are the tallest in their group?'. The survey results proved that RM won the male idol category with 986 votes (75%) out of a total of 1,310 votes.
