Romantic and Close to Life, 'TRUE BEAUTY' and 'A GIRL WHO CAN SEE SMELL' Will Be on the Screen

The second, A Girl Who Can See Smell, airs every day at 18:00 WIB. Of course, both of these dramas are interesting to watch for their fans. "The two titles brought by NET this time come with different colors and appeals. Yeni Anshar said that the interesting thing about these two Korean drama series is the unpredictable storyline. Naturally, the audience becomes more curious about the storyline.

"Meanwhile, A Girl Who Can See Smell presents a plot full of surprises and uniqueness wrapped in a romantic story with thrilling suspense," she said.

1. Adapted from Webtoon

Drakor True Beauty is a series starring famous actors and actresses, such as Moon Ga Young, Cha Eun Woo, and Hwang In Yeop. True Beauty presents a drama story adapted from the highly popular webtoon titled The Secret of Angel by Kim Na Young or Yaongyi.

The webtoon, released in 2018, has been read over 4 billion times worldwide and has become the most anticipated drama since the end of 2020. True Beauty tells the story of a girl named Im Joo Gyeong (Moon Ga Young) who is often bullied for being considered ugly.

One day, Joo Gyeong and her family are forced to move to another area, which becomes an opportunity for Joo Gyeong to learn how to do makeup. Her efforts pay off, her appearance changes drastically, and she becomes successful in becoming a popular girl at her school.

A Girl Who Can See Smell tells the story of a young girl named Choi Eun Seol (Shin Se Kyung) who witnesses the murder of her parents for the second time.

Korean drama A Girl Who Can See Smell is noted as a drama that leads its actors to win several awards in their home country. Actor Park Yoo Chun, also known as a member of the boyband JYJ and TVXQ, successfully proves his acting skills by winning the Top Excellence Award, Actor in Miniseries at the 23rd SBS Drama Awards in 2015.

He was also nominated for the Best Couple Award with Shin Se Kyung at the same awards ceremony. The drama's theme song, titled Spring is Gone by Chance, also achieved success by winning the Best OST at the Melon Music Awards 2015.
