'Savage' Brings aespa Together with Black Mamba in KWANGYA, Naevis Finally Appears for the First Time

One of the topics discussed in this press conference was about the title track, Savage, which MY has been eagerly waiting for worldwide. Just like Black Mamba and Next Level, Savage also tells the story of aespa's world in KWANGYA.

"Savage is a trap-style song, where you can feel the attacking aura centered around the drum and bass. Like Black Mamba and Next Level, this song also continues the story within our unique world," explained Giselle.

For those who have been following aespa since their debut, they would understand that these four beautiful girls are said to have an enemy called Black Mamba, represented as a snake. Winter mentioned that the song Savage tells the story of aespa finally meeting Black Mamba directly.

"In Savage, we head to KWANGYA and finally come face to face with Black Mamba. In addition, Naevis will also appear officially. Naevis is the one who helps us confront Black Mamba. The song Savage contains the story about this," said Winter.

2. Watch Black Mamba and Next Level First

Speaking of the Savage MV, Winter explained again that this music video is still related to Black Mamba and Next Level. Therefore, this 20-year-old beautiful girl suggested watching the three MVs in sequence.

"Savage is a song that focuses on aespa's perspective of the world, so in the MV, there are many CG effects and animations that show different elements in our world. I suggest that you watch the MVs Black Mamba and Next Level first before watching Savage, so that it feels like a series of films," Winter advised.

When asked what fans should pay attention to in the MV Savage, Giselle and Ningning enthusiastically gave a little hint that is guaranteed to make fans even more curious. It turns out that it's not just Naevis who will appear.

"As we mentioned before, Naevis will appear as a facilitator in our new song. Look forward to Naevis' presence in our MV," said Giselle.

Ningning then added to Giselle's statement. "And of course, our aespa will also appear. They will dance with us and their presence is very cool."
