Kapanlagi.com - Sad news came from the South Korean entertainment world. Two senior actors, Byun Hee Bong and No Young Kook, passed away on the same day, Monday (18/9/2023).
As reported by Allkpop, Byun Hee Bong passed away at the age of 81 after battling pancreatic cancer. The actor was previously declared cured in 2019, but the cancer returned. The actor will be buried at Samsung Seol Hospital.
Meanwhile, No Young Kook died suddenly due to a heart attack. He passed away at the age of 74.
The actor is currently starring in the drama LIVE YOUR OWN LIFE as Kang Jin Beom and airing on KBS2TV every weekend. The drama staff stated that they will discuss the continuation of filming after the late No Young Kook's funeral.
Byun Hee Bong began his acting career in 1966. He has starred in many dramas and films, including THE HOST and OKJA.
No Young Kook himself started his theater acting career in 1967 and appeared on TV since 1975. He starred in several dramas and films such as BRAVO MY LIFE and TAEJONG OF JOSEON.
Rest in peace, Byun Hee Bong and No Young Kook.
