Seohyun SNSD Faces Dilemma as a Lesbian in K-Drama 'Hello Dracula'

After previously acting in 'Good Thief, Bad Thief' and 'The Time', the woman whose real name is Seo Joohyun is now starring in a drama that is still considered taboo by some.

As reported by Koreaboo, Seohyun has gained attention for her role in the drama 'Hello Dracula' which will be aired on JTBC. 'Hello Dracula' is a short drama consisting of two episodes about three neighbors who each have problems they want to avoid but end up growing by facing them directly.

Seohyun portrays one of the main characters named Anna. She is an elementary school teacher who is obsessed with wanting to be a devoted child but has had a secret since middle school.

Through the character description provided by JTBC, Anna feels like she can never be the child her parents wanted. She doesn't have the chance to live life her own way. Anna always tries not to disappoint her mother, Miyoung (played by Lee Ji Hyun).

When she was still in middle school, Anna realized the fact that she likes the same gender. She hoped her mother would support her, but unfortunately, Miyoung rejected her. Anna is not accepted for who she is by her mother. That's what frustrates Anna.

Anna's life becomes more tumultuous, after trying to survive for eight years, she receives a phone call from someone she loves the most, Sojung (Lee Chung Ah). After receiving the call, Anna faces a new dilemma. She wants to meet her mother and ask for acceptance, but at the same time, Anna also wants to distance herself from her mother forever.
