Unpleasant news comes from Seungmin Stray Kids. The K-Pop idol is reported to have undergone another examination at the hospital after feeling discomfort in his leg.
This information was conveyed directly by their agency, JYP Entertainment, through an official statement. The agency explained that Seungmin decided to check his condition after the discomfort in the leg area reappeared.
After undergoing a thorough medical examination, doctors suspect that Seungmin is experiencing a stress fracture or a hairline fracture in his left ankle.Â
It was confirmed in the same notice by Stray Kids through a post on X, stating that this condition does not interfere with light activities such as walking or daily routines.
Although he can still engage in normal activities, the medical team still advises that Seungmin get enough rest. This is done so that his recovery process can proceed more quickly and not worsen the condition of his injury.
Due to health reasons, the main vocalist of Stray Kids will temporarily reduce heavy physical activities. He is also advised to focus on recovery so that he can return to activities optimally in the near future.
This condition also impacts their group's schedule. Seungmin's appearance will likely be limited at the Stray Kids 6th Fanmeeting 'STAY in Our Little House' scheduled for March 28–29 and April 4–5.
The agency also expressed their apologies to fans who may have been looking forward to Seungmin's full appearance at the event. They hope that fans can understand the situation that is currently taking place.
At the end of their statement, Stray Kids and JYP Entertainment emphasized that the health of the artist is the top priority. They promised to provide full support so that Seungmin can recover well and return to greet fans in a healthier condition.
