1. Education Program

SM Institute is a globally-scaled educational institution intended for students interested in the entertainment world. The programs offered include the proven-effective SM Entertainment formula in producing talented individuals to become famous K-Pop stars. They will also provide other important skills such as Korean, English, Chinese, and Japanese language programs.

SM Insitute is not only dedicated to young people who want to become K-Pop stars. They also have programs for modeling, acting, influencing, fashion, beauty, management, and more.

2. Unique Learning System

SM Entertainment and Jongro Education Center have had a written agreement since 2016. They will focus on developing a unique education and curriculum with a learning system that includes a combination of online and offline methods, educational technology solutions utilizing AI (artificial intelligence), and so on.

"Being an entertainer means sacrificing education in order to focus on training. SMI provides a system that includes online learning and an efficient curriculum for students in need, so that young people can pursue their dreams while continuing their education. The institute also plans to provide career options in the entertainment industry through unique training programs for students," said Choi Jin Young, the president of SM Institute.

3. Registration Opens in October

Young Koreans or foreigners can start registering for SM Institute from October this year. They plan to start the first semester in March 2021.
