1. Approached by a Young Man

Invited by Jo Hyun Ah to eat and chat, Sooyoung immediately opened the event with her funny story. The 33-year-old SNSD member admitted that she had been approached by a young man while walking around in Apgujeong, South Korea.

“I think it happened earlier this year during the winter season. There were two men in their twenties. They were talking while holding their phones and walking towards me. At first, I thought they wanted to take a picture with me. I was ready to greet them,” Sooyoung explained.

“One of them said, ‘Hello, I usually don't do this, this is my first time in my life.’ I thought it was their first time asking for a picture with an artist. ‘Sorry, but if you don't mind, can I have your phone number?’ Since I was wearing a mask, I lowered it and said, ‘Huh?’ But he still wanted my phone number.” Sooyoung continued.

2. Already Have a Boyfriend

Funnily enough, the two young men didn't recognize her and kept asking for her phone number. The guy next to her defended his friend and said that it was the first time he had asked a girl for her phone number. However, Sooyoung politely declined by saying, "Sorry, I already have a boyfriend."

But the guy insisted that Sooyoung was just saying that to reject his request. He boldly asked how long Sooyoung had been in a relationship.

"Me? 10 years," Sooyoung replied firmly.

Sooyoung actually wanted to reveal that she was a member of SNSD, but she knew that the guy would feel embarrassed. It would be even more embarrassing if he asked, "What is SNSD?". In the end, Sooyoung apologized for not being able to give her phone number, and the guy gave up.
