Netflix has just released their latest Korean film titled SPACE SWEEPERS. The film stars Song Joong Ki, Kim Tae Ri, Yoo Hae Jin, and Jin Seon Kyu, and it has been highly anticipated by their fans. Now, Netflix has released their latest photoshoot results. Curious about what the photos look like?
This is the appearance of the stars of SPACE SWEEPERS that has just premiered on Netflix.
The four main stars, Yoo Hae Jin, Song Joong Ki, Jin Seon Kyu, and Kim Tae Ri, are seen lined up perfectly in two different photoshoot concepts.
Directed by Jo Sung Hee, SPACE SWEEPERS tells the story of life in 2092 where there is a spaceship named Victory with a crew of geniuses.
They are Pilot Tae Ho (Song Joong Ki), Captain Jang (Kim Tae Ri), technician Tiger Park (Jin Seon Kyu), and a military robot named Bubs played by (Yoo Hae Jin).
Having previously collaborated with Song Joong Ki in the film WEREWOLF BOY, Jo Sung Hee felt that the former husband of Song Hye Kyo is the same person, still positive, cheerful, and friendly.
"I think he is very similar to the character Tae Ho that I created, and I think he is very suitable for the character," he said in an online press conference with KapanLagi.com®.
Jo Sung Hee admitted to having prepared the script for this film for the past 10 years, because he was worried that the audience would feel unfamiliar hearing the Korean language in a space film set.
Being the first Korean film with a space genre, he also admitted to using a lot of CGI inspired by similar Hollywood films.
Despite being a pioneer in this genre, Jo Sung Hee still wants to deliver maximum results through good collaboration from talented designer and CGI teams.
However, he also admitted that this film is actually very different from the written scenario. But he is very satisfied with the result.
"Film is about good collaboration between actors and creative teams. You will never know the ideas that other teams have, which can change the outcome from what was imagined," said Jo Sung Hee.
