Kapanlagi.com - Vidi Aldiano, who now changes his stage name to VIDI, shares his experience working with South Korean producers. As known, his latest single titled 'w u at?' (Where you at?) is a result of his collaboration with producers who are accustomed to producing songs for K-Pop idols.

"Learning has no limits. Fortunately, this year I had the opportunity to work with Korean producers directly in Korea. The producers are truly the ones who have produced many songs for idols that I highly idolize," said VIDI when met at The Kasablanka, Kota Kasablanka, South Jakarta some time ago.

1. Starting From Liking K-Pop Music

Starting from liking K-Pop songs, VIDI became more interested in learning more about the process behind the making of K-Pop music. Starting from how they create their songs and music videos to their marketing strategies.

"Because for me, it started from liking K-Pop music from their songs only, but gradually I learned to appreciate the process behind how they make the songs, create projects, make music videos, create campaigns, and I felt that the industry there is incredibly huge and detailed. That's what I want to learn," he said.

2. Wants to Learn a Lot

As an independent musician, VIDI wants to learn a lot about K-Pop music from the producers he collaborates with. He believes that K-Pop music is already global because it can be enjoyed by people in various countries.

"As an independent musician in Indonesia, I also need to learn and I feel that Korean music is incredibly global and it is not only enjoyed by the Korean people but also the global market," said Sheila Dara's husband.

"I want to learn what I can absorb from the K-Pop industry there that I can apply. This year, I have an incredible opportunity to get to know and work with producers there. Stay tuned for my latest works," he concluded.
