Sympathizing with Mina AOA's Case, Former ILUV Member Shin Minah Also Admits Almost Attempted Suicide After Being a Bullying Victim

She is Shin Minah, former member of the girl group ILUV under the management of WKS ENE.

Through her social media account, Shin Minah admitted that she was a victim of oppression during her time in ILUV, which led to various physical and mental health problems. She even attempted suicide but was saved by the police.

Shin Minah made her debut as one of the members of ILUV for their comeback with the song Open The Door on November 11, 2019. Shortly after, she was absent from the group due to health reasons.

On Sunday (12/7/2020), Minah announced through her personal Instagram account that she is no longer part of ILUV. It is said that she finally managed to terminate her exclusive contract with WKS ENE in court. She also revealed her struggles with mental health issues.

2. Shocking Confession

A day later, a fan revealed their conversation with Minah through DM. The fan contacted Minah out of concern for the posts made by their idol.

In their conversation, Minah mentioned that she is currently battling insomnia and loss of appetite. She also expressed sympathy for Mina, former member of AOA, who has revealed her experience with bullying.

3. Former Teammate Confirmed

Furthermore, the fans asked if Minah also experienced bullying. Minah confirmed that she was bullied by all ILUV members, both physically and mentally.

Gahyun, another former member of ILUV, confirmed that the harassment Minah experienced truly happened. Gahyun hopes that the truth behind this issue can be revealed soon.

4. Agency Response

Because Minah revealed that some members will release a new album, it is believed that some of them will debut in a new girl group called WKS ENE, BOTOPASS. Netizens flooded ILUV and BOTOPASS's official social media accounts, asking for an explanation from the agency.

In response, all official ILUV accounts were deleted by the agency. Netizens also mentioned that Minah was blocked from BOTOPASS's account and replies mentioning Minah's name on Twitter were hidden.

5. Asked to Keep Quiet

On Tuesday (14/7/2020), Minah posted on her personal Instagram again. She mentioned that she is still having difficulty eating and currently weighs only 36kg.

In the same post, Minah revealed that she was called by WKS ENE and asked not to discuss the bullying issue. However, Minah doesn't understand why she should stay silent and hopes that the people who hurt her will apologize.

6. Suicide Attempt

On Wednesday (15/7/2020) morning, Minah posted a farewell message on her personal Instagram account. On the same day, Minah posted a video on her YouTube channel and revealed that she went to the Han River but luckily was saved by a police officer.
