Synopsis of the Chinese drama THE LEGEND OF HEROES tells the story of heroism in the martial arts world, bringing together great warriors who revive the martial arts in a new tradition. Legendary martial artists gather to unite their strengths and bring back the glory of martial arts.
The story begins during the Southern Song Dynasty, where chaos ensues due to the attack of the Jin army and the betrayal of ministers who seek to control the palace. Two people named Guo Xiaotian and Yang Tiexin plan to marry their children. However, tragic fate befalls them as they are killed by the Jin army.
In the midst of the chaos, Qiu Chuji, a Taoist priest from the Quanzhen Sect, appears and challenges the "Seven Crazies from Jiangnan". They decide to search for the descendants of the Guo and Yang families to teach them martial arts. Eighteen years later, Qiu Chuji and the "Seven Crazies from Jiangnan" meet again.
And they compare the abilities of their disciples. Guo Jing and Yang Kang, who have grown under the guidance of their teachers, show remarkable progress. Guo Jing followed his teacher's command to travel to the South, where he met Huang Rong, the daughter of Huang Yaoshi.
In this meeting, Guo Jing and Huang Rong fell in love, but their relationship was full of obstacles. They traveled thousands of miles to learn martial arts and improve their skills.
