Synopsis of Korean drama BEGINS YOUTH depicts the lives of seven boys who face various challenges during their school years and personal growth. One of them is Kim Hwan, who returns to the city of Songju-si, a place he does not want to be. There, he meets six other boys.
At first, they feel awkward and suspicious of each other due to their different backgrounds and lives. However, over time, they form a strong bond of friendship. They share their life experiences, face problems together, and heal each other, despite their difficult beginnings with each other.
As they grow closer, they realize that they have similar family problems. Hwan, who initially feels like an outsider among them, eventually finds his place among his new friends. However, their relationship is threatened when Hwan's father, Kim Chang Jun, opposes their friendship.
