On June 13, 2023, Taeyong NCT released a special music video for Gwando through the NCT YouTube channel. In this music video, Taeyong showed his bright and outstanding charm in Pattaya, Thailand.
Gwando is a pop & rock song with rock style guitar & bass sound, as well as hip hop style drum sound. The song expresses various emotions of a farewell with a cheerful melody. The song also conveys the message that everyone will overcome such farewell feelings well.
In various music programs last week, Taeyong performed Gwando and received a very good response. His performance was lively and matched the song well.
With his first mini-album, SHALALA, Taeyong participated in the production of all 7 songs in the album. He also topped the iTunes ‘Top Album’ chart in 31 countries, the QQ Music ‘Digital Album Sales’ chart, and the Worldwide iTunes ‘Album Chart’.
Meanwhile, Taeyong will appear and perform the song Shalala on various music programs, including KBS2TV ‘Music Bank’ on June 16, 2023, MBC ‘Show!Music Core’ on June 17, 2023, and SBS ‘Inkigayo’ on June 18, 2023.
