Thanks to BTS and TXT, Big Hit Entertainment's Annual Revenue Soars to Rp7.9 Trillion

Kapanlagi.com - Big Hit Entertainment has just announced its latest annual revenue. According to Forbes, Big Hit Entertainment reported that their revenue skyrocketed to 587.2 billion Won or approximately Rp7.9 trillion (with an exchange rate of 1 Won = 13,490 Rupiah as of April 1, 2020).

Meanwhile, the total profit earned by Big Hit Entertainment in 2019 amounted to 98.7 billion Won or approximately Rp1.3 trillion. This is the highest revenue and profit for Big Hit Entertainment since its establishment.

Compared to 2018, Big Hit Entertainment's annual revenue increased by 95 percent and profit increased by 24 percent.

Most of Big Hit Entertainment's revenue comes from the sales of BTS's album Map of The Soul: PERSONA, which sold a successful 3.7 million copies according to Gaon Chart's report in 2019.

In addition, TXT's debut and comeback albums were also successful. In total, Big Hit Entertainment sold over 6 million copies of BTS and TXT albums last year.
