On October 9, 2024, Kim Yoo Jung made a very large donation to help those in need, especially the elderly and children with disabilities.
According to her agency, Awesome ENT, Kim Yoo Jung donated a total of 100 million Won (approximately 1.15 billion), which includes 50 million Won for the Elderly Support Center and another 50 million Won for the Green Umbrella Children's Foundation last month.
A representative from Awesome ENT stated that Kim Yoo Jung hopes her donation can help elderly people living alone and children with severe disabilities to live healthier lives in better conditions.
The donation will be used to support food supplies for the elderly as well as provide rehabilitation, medical expenses, and care costs for children with disabilities who do not have family support.
This is not Kim Yoo Jung's first social action this year, as in February, she also donated 100 million Won to the Korean Childhood Cancer Foundation to support children suffering from cancer, leukemia, and other rare diseases.
In 2020, Kim Yoo Jung became the youngest member to join the Green Noble Club, a major donor group at the Green Umbrella Children's Foundation.
Last year, she also donated 30 million Won (around 346 million IDR) to support children who are victims of crime, continuing her efforts to give and spread a positive influence in society.
In addition to her philanthropic activities, Kim Yoo Jung is also active in her acting career and will star in a series titled 'DEAR X' scheduled to air in 2025, co-starring with Kim Young Dae and Kim Do Hoon.
