The Excitement of the Virtual Talk Show by Haru Publishers with the Author of the Book Map of The Soul: 7, Discussing Theories and BTS Songs with Indonesian ARMY

Kapanlagi.com - The figure of Dr. Murray Stein is certainly not unfamiliar to ARMY (fans of BTS). Dr. Murray Stein is a training analyst at the International School for Analytical Psychology in Zurich, Switzerland. He is also a Jungian theory analyst and author of books on psychology.

Murray Stein first discovered Carl Jung's psychology in the spring of 1968. Currently, Stein is interested in the integration between his research and Korean music. Murray Stein explains the process of individuation and how every human being has a Persona, Shadow, and Ego within themselves. Publisher Haru collaborated with Publisher Spring to hold the Talk Show event Map of The Soul 7 with Dr. Murray Stein. The Talk Show, held on June 26, was a discussion dissecting the book Map Of The Soul 7 by inviting Murray Stein and several Indonesian ARMY communities to delve deeper into the theories found in the book Map Of The Soul 7 and also BTS songs. In this discussion, Indonesian ARMY friends will also share their direct experiences related to the discussions in the book Map Of The Soul 7.

The goal of the Talk Show for the book Map Of The Soul 7 is to disseminate insights related to Jungian theories, especially the three main theories and BTS songs in the book Map Of The Soul 7. It is hoped that this event can also help people better understand the contents of the book Map Of The Soul 7, thus helping them find the right direction in their life journey. The Map Of The Soul 7 book talk show is one of the series of events from the Read Asia, Read Diverse, and Read All Campaign organized by Publisher Haru. The campaign aims to increase empathy by voicing that all books have the same role and right to be read.

2. Jung's Theory According to Dr. Stein

Dr. Stein highly appreciates the publishers who have translated his book into Indonesian. He also praises BTS as spectacular idols, capable of presenting beautiful songs with profound meanings about the journey of life. Dr. Stein was also very surprised when he was told by his student that there was a band group that used Jung's theory through his book as a reference for their album, and he was very happy. However, Dr. Stein also admits that he feels a bit anxious because there is a concern if there is a misunderstanding in conveying Jungian theory, but it turns out that BTS is able to convey it well in their songs.

Dr. Stein said that Jung's theory can actually be practiced in daily life, it just seems like a difficult theory. In fact, this theory is still a basic theory that is relatively easy. Dr. Stein highlights the song Black Swan because it accurately depicts the current condition, which was released at the beginning of the pandemic. He found a good correlation between what was written in the lyrics of the song and the situation that occurred.

3. Reasons to be Amazed by BTS

In the virtual talk show, Dr. Stein revealed that he greatly admires RM or Kim Namjoon. He was impressed by BTS's leader's speech at the 2018 UN General Assembly.

"In my opinion, BTS is not just an entertainer. They are more than that. They are not just singers and dancers, they also inspire fans through their songs in a different way than most idols," said Dr. Stein.

The virtual talk show, moderated by Sharon Mailangkay from the ARMY Help Center Indonesia, was attended by up to 500 enthusiastic Indonesian ARMYs who were eager to gain knowledge from the author.
