'The Silent Sea' will be airing on Netflix in 2 days, Portraits of Gong Yoo and his team on the Moon are intriguing!

Today, all The Silent Sea players along with the crew held a Press Conference with a space theme. 

This drama is written by Park Eun-kyo and produced by Choi Hang-yong, and features famous stars including Bae Doona, Gong Yoo, Lee Joon, Kim Sun-young, Lee Mu-saeng, and Lee Sung-wook.

Gong Yoo portrays Han Yunjae, the captain of the exploration crew. “I have always had a passion for this genre and intuitively knew when reading the script that this is what I have been waiting for,” Gong explained about what interested him in the project.

The Silent Sea is the first Korean series set on the moon. If Space Sweeperstraverses the vast outer space, The Silent Sea depicts a series of unexpected eventsoccurring at a lunar research station that was closed five years ago.

In their mission, the crew members desperately search for clues to save humanity from extinction. However, instead of facing evidence of why no one from the previous missions returned alive.

The shooting of The Silent Sea has given these actors and actresses various new experiences. They also need to wear heavy spacesuits throughout the shooting process and learn anti-gravity movement training.

Casting A-list actors Bae Doona and Gong Yoo has generated a lot of attention before shooting began. Bae Doona plays the role of astrobiologist Dr. Song Jian. Her character Jian is brave and different. Unlike the other crew members who are only determined to carry out their mission, Jian investigates the secrets of the abandoned base alone.
