In the K-Pop entertainment industry, every officially debuted K-Pop group has an agency that supports them. Korean agencies play an important role in the sustainability of a K-Pop group. One of the functions of agencies is to manage their artists. It is known that K-Pop groups usually have a 7-year contract with the agency that brought them up. After 7 years of debut, members of K-Pop groups have the option to renew their contract or not. Personal reasons are one of the factors that influence a member's decision not to renew their contract with their previous agency. Despite having members from different agencies, these K-Pop groups have proven their loyalty and unity by staying together as a group. From SNSD to GOT7, these are the 8 K-Pop groups that remain compact despite having members from different agencies!

One of the popular girl groups from gen 2, namely SNSD, officially made their debut in 2007 under the management of SM Entertainment. After 10 years of debut, in 2017 three members of SNSD, namely Sooyoung, Tiffany, and Seohyun, announced their departure from SM Entertainment. Seohyun was known to have joined Namoo actors agency, Sooyoung with Saram Entertainment, and Tiffany with Paradigm Talent Agency and later Sublime Entertainment. Although the three members officially left, SNSD managed to prove that it did not become a barrier to remain loyal as a group.

2 PM is a group created by JYP Entertainment that made their debut in 2008 with 7 members. In 2010, 2 PM lost their leader, Jay Park, who left the group in 2010. After continuing their group activities with JYP Entertainment, two members of 2 PM officially left JYP Entertainment. Taeyeon left in 2018 and Chansung in 2021. Afterward, Taeyeon and Chansung have joined new agencies, with Taeyeon joining 51K agency and Chansung joining L'July Entertainment.

2 AM became the second boy group under JYP Entertainment to debut in 2008, led by members Jinwoon, Jo Kwon, Seulong, and Changmin. They had a long career under JYP Entertainment, but all the members of 2 AM decided not to renew their contracts. In 2015, three members, Jinwoon, Seulong, and Changmin, officially left JYP Entertainment. Jo Kwon also left JYP Entertainment in 2017. Despite this, the four members remained together as 2 AM and joined new agencies. Jo Kwon joined Cube Entertainment, Jinwoon joined Mystic Story, Seulong joined Jellyfish Entertainment, and Changmin established his own agency.

Infinite officially debuted in 2010 under Woollim Entertainment. After 9 years with Woollim Entertainment, the members of Infinite started leaving the agency. L was the first member to leave in 2019. Then, in 2021, Dongwoo, Sungyeol, and Sunggyu officially announced their departure from the agency. In 2022 and 2023, Woohyun and Sungjong also left Woollim Entertainment. After leaving, the members of Infinite were known to have signed contracts with new agencies. L and Sungyeol joined 2SANG Management, Dongwoo joined Big Boss Ent, Sunggyu joined Double H tne, Woohyun joined Jflex Ent, and Sungjong joined SPK Ent.

Debut in 2014, GOT7 is known as one of the boy groups formed by JYP Entertainment. After a 7-year contract, in 2021 JYP Entertainment announced that all GOT7 members will not renew their contracts. The GOT7 members have joined their respective new agencies, such as Mark joining Creative Artists Agency, Bambam with Abyss Company, Yugyeom with Aomg Entertainment, Jinyoung with BH Entertainment, Jay B with Mauve Company, and Young Jae with Sublime Artists Agency. As for Jackson, it is known that he has established a music label named Team Wang.

Girl Group Mamamoo is one of the groups formed by RBW Entertainment that debuted in 2014. The group, led by Hwasa, Wheein, Solar, and Moonbyul, has successfully become one of the popular girl groups from the 3rd generation. After 7 years since their debut, two Mamamoo members decided to leave RBW Entertainment. In 2021, Wheein announced that she will not renew her contract. Furthermore, in 2023, Hwasa also officially did not renew her contract and left. Currently, Wheein and Hwasa are known to have joined new agencies, with Wheein joining THE L1VE agency and Hwasa with P NATION agency.

One of the third generation Boy Groups, namely Monsta X, made their debut in 2015 under the management of Starship Entertainment. Initially, Monsta X debuted with seven members. However, in 2019, member Wonho officially left the group that made his name. Only leaving the agency, in 2022 Monsta X's maknae, I.M, became the only member of Monsta X who did not renew his contract and left Starship Entertainment. Currently, it is known that I.M has joined Sony Music Korea agency.
